What worked really when when using our platform?

- themes are great and so easy to custome. so intuitive!

- so many tools to set up everything quickly even if i felt like i wasn't an expert.

- all this looks so damn professional. bless these beautiful templates. i love that i can get such a beautiful outcome

- really liked being able to test transactions. unbelievable that this is pretty much ready to go in terms of selling some basic stuff without dealing with marketing/seo stuff.

What could be improved when using our platform?

- Setting up the bogus gateway. Seemes like some of this information on the help page is dated. I felt like a big baboon in a control room.

- Making product images more consistent: turns out you can't resize an image larger, cropping tool could be more acfurate, and the images you throw into upload can vary in size which makes homepage/allproduct page look not great.

- add an image.... when working on content modules. damn, i really missed that select image button like 4 times and was very lost and confused when the image i selected could. not. save. !! panic

How did this experience help you build empathy for our merchants?

Theres a wide vartiety of skills to be had when setting up an online shop for the very first time. And it's hard— from translating an idea or vision into this site, coming up with product ideas that call back to a mission/value statement, to more granular scheme of technical knowhows.... (what's a SKU, where the heck do I find this and TIL about hoe dropshipping works....) I love that this one step- the site and payment backend can be set up super easily so that a merchant can basically focus on everything else. :)
